Entry & Onboarding
The onboarding experience makes it easy for hosts to create events and for guests to join them. Each event becomes a central space where participants can collect and share their photos and memories.
Event Management
Gives hosts a central place to manage events and registered guests before and during the event. Keeping event details and attendees together creates a structured foundation for collecting and sharing photos.
Photo Organization
Organizes event memories into albums while making it easy to discover photos by people and moments. This gives users a simple way to browse and revisit memories from each event.
Sharing & Insights
Makes it easy for guests to access and share event memories through QR-based access, while giving hosts insights into photo views, downloads and overall event engagement.

Overview
JioPhotos is an event-focused photo management experience designed to help users bring their event memories together in one place. The product supports the journey from creating and inviting people to an event, managing guests, organizing photos into albums, discovering memories through faces, and sharing access through QR codes. I worked on structuring the experience across these touchpoints to make event and photo management simple, organized, and easy to navigate.
Key Challenge
Bring event creation, guest management, photo organization, and memory discovery into one connected experience, the challenge was to make large volumes of event content to organize, discover, manage and share across different user needs.
Entry & Onboarding
The experience begins with a simple sign-up and invitation flow that gets users into the right event with minimal friction. Rather than treating photo sharing as a separate activity, the experience connects people directly to the event where their memories will live. This creates a clear starting point for both hosts and participants and establishes the event as the central space for everything that follows.
Event Management
The Events and Guests experience gives hosts a structured way to manage the practical side of an event. Event details such as date, time, location, description, and individual ceremonies are brought together in one view, while the guest section provides visibility into registrations and requests. Search, filtering, and approve/deny actions help hosts manage attendees without having to navigate through multiple disconnected screens.
Photo Organization
Once an event is created, the experience shifts naturally from managing people to managing memories. Albums allow photos to be organized around individual moments such as Mehendi, Sangeet, and Haldi, while Faces introduces another way to discover photos based on the people appearing in them. Together, these features provide both event-based and people-based ways to navigate an otherwise large collection of event photos.
Sharing & Insights
The experience also considers what happens after photos and events are organized. A dedicated QR code makes it easier to provide event access to guests, reducing the need to manually share links or instructions. Analytics then gives hosts a simple overview of engagement through metrics such as registrations, invitations, photo views, downloads, and face discovery, helping them understand how people interacted with the shared memories.

Albums, face-based discovery and QR-based access connect the digital experience back to the physical event and make memories easier to find and share.
